The CBCC company had it's humble beginnings in the 1960's with the creation of the Umbrella Corporation. As the company began to flourish, it became one of the major players in pharmaceuticals, medical hardware, defense, cosmetics, and other various consumer products, as well as computers. Secretly, it also dabbled in genetic engineering and bio weapons manufacturing.
It was in the field of computing that the Umbrella Corporation was losing massive revenue, and thus started to oursource the technicians. It was in the year 2000 when the company was bought by a multibillionaire named Charles Montgomery Burns from the small town of Springfield, to turn around profits within the helpdesk environment. With his extreme riches, he was able to convince the Umbrella developers to create a StarGate, one with the ability not only to travel distance, but time and space. Thus, with this tool, Burns was able to outsource even cheaper help, and expand the profit margin greatly. This made other companies like Weyland-Yutani, InGen, Cyberdyne Systems, and Maas-Biotek lose their foothold as monopolizing competitors.
And so, the "Charles Burns Company Corporation" was born. It's employees hail from vast universes. It isn't uncommon to see Borg drones working along side Jedi technicians, or see one of many Orcish network admins "fixing" something . Here, you will see the various day to day activities of these employees and their sometimes difficult situations as they help the common End User. Many times, that can be dangerous. |
